Digital Vocabulary

2014

The Digital Vocabulary boards created by Woody Vasulka in the 1970s are placed next to each other in a virtual space. A camera hovers over them, approaches and moves away, transforming the whole into a landscape of data. This is all the more true as at certain times landscapes appear, the blacks sinking into the image as the whites come forward.
